Cloud Technical Architect

Infosys is seeking an experienced Cloud Technical Architect with a strong background in Cloud and Data Center Operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Software development, designing and providing DevOps solutions, and monitoring of large-scale applications.

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, ONor be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 7 years of experience in the Software/IT industry, with a focus on production support and cloud operations.
• Deploying microservices/AWS resources using Kubernetes clusters and cutting-edge tools like ArgoCD, Helm, Rancher, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Orchestrating seamless deployment from development to production in a CI/CD pipeline, ensuring consistency and efficiency across environments.
• Implement tagging standards to track resource usage by team, project, or environment.
• Monitor memory usage, eviction count, and hit/miss ratio via Redis metrics.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate AWS resource provisioning..
• Drive the technical discussions during the post mortems - For customer-impacting incidents with a focus on identifying corrective actions to avoid repetition and collaborate with development teams.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services, including EC2, RDS, Dynamo DB, Route53, Elastic Load Balancers, AMIs, IAM Roles, Ops Works, Cloud Formation, Prometheus Monitoring, alerts, and Grafana dashboards.
• Experience in utilizing Rancher for Kubernetes orchestration and management, and conducting continuous integration and continuous deployment to deploy applications.
• Good Knowledge of Helm charts to manage and onboard applications on Kubernetes.
• Experience in creating AWS EC2 instances, Lambda, Kafka, API-GW, and great troubleshooting skills and configuration management with the Chef framework.
• Experience in leading Scrum teams and working with the Cross-functional team to ensure timely, accurate, and detailed responses to Business Partners and End Customers.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services, including EC2, RDS, Dynamo DB, Route53, Elastic Load Balancers, AMIs, IAM Roles, Ops Works, and Cloud Formation.
• Working knowledge of Bitbucket, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Jira, erraform, ARM templates, and TFS/DevOps.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:

Ontario: $ 99,431 to $123,375.
