Papero is a German document management app that eliminates paperwork stress with OCR scanning, AI extraction, and smart payment reminders. We have:
- Live App in the App Store (iOS, Android coming soon)
- Technology is completely ready – active bug fixes & new feature planning
- First users are using the app – product validated, now focusing on scaling
Now, we just need one thing: a marketing genius to put Papero on the map.
Your Role
You are marketing/sales-driven and want to do more than just 'work' – you want to co-found. You bring strategic thinking, a hands-on mentality, and the drive to make Papero the #1 document app in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Growth Strategy: Meta Ads, TikTok, Google – you know which channels work for productivity apps.
- User Acquisition: From app install campaigns to retention optimization.
- Positioning & Messaging: You understand German users and know how to turn "invoice anxiety" into marketing gold.
- Partnerships & PR: Media contacts, influencer collaborations, content strategy.
- Analytics & Optimization: You love data and optimize based on metrics, not gut feeling.
Qualifications
- Fluent German (native or C2) – our target audience is DACH.
- Digital Marketing Experience – ideally app marketing, but strong digital marketing skills are sufficient.
- Hands-on Mentality – You implement yourself, you don't wait for agencies.
- Growth Mindset – Test, iterate, scale. Fail fast, learn faster.
- Entrepreneurial Thinking – You want to co-found, not just be an employee.
Nice-to-have (but not a must):
- App Marketing Experience (Meta/TikTok/Apple Search Ads)
- Content Creation Skills (UGC, Video Editing)
- Knowledge of the German app market
- Proximity to Lippstadt/Paderborn (NRW) – but remote is also okay

What does Vesting mean? Your 50% will be "earned" over a defined period. This protects both of us: If someone leaves after 2 months, they don't keep half the company. After, for example, 1 year (cliff), you have 25% earned, and after, for example, 4 years, the full 50%. Standard in all reputable startups.
