About This Role

This role plans, organizes and executes college recruiting and internship programs with a focus on hiring top early career talent from leading universities, delivering a high-quality intern experience, and partnering with and training College and Intern Champs to ensure programs are consistent, engaging, and well executed. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional partners and is ideal for someone with strong communication and organizational skills who is energized by supporting programs that develop future talent. This role will be a key contributor to achieving sustainably organizational growth by creating a strong pipeline of early career talent primarily through campus recruitment efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full life cycle recruitment for regional and site-specific college and intern hiring efforts, including sourcing, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, extending offer letters, managing offer letter correspondence, and administering pre-employment screenings
  • Provide oversight for each champion’s campus recruiting strategy to ensure it aligns with organizational goals
  • Train and support college champs and teams to build and maintain strong relationships with targeted universities, students, and campus partners
  • Train, support, and communicate with College and Intern Champs to ensure consistent and effective program delivery
  • Review and evaluate campus engagement plans and budget allocation for events
  • Partner with key stakeholders and collaborate with team members to determine and communicate campus recruiting strategy, including school selection, candidate selection, metrics and goals, candidate care, and career fair sign-up to meet internship and early career hiring needs
  • Evaluate effectiveness of on campus strategies annually through the Campus Assessment Framework
  • Coordinate recruiting events, orientations, and key internship program milestones
  • Plan and execute the annual summer internship welcome event
  • Track and report on campus recruiting results to identify areas for process and performance improvement, including performance metrics for each campus, acceptance rates, and key patterns in declines and acceptances
  • Plan and attend second round interviews across multiple business units during college recruiting semesters
  • Manage all communication with supervisors of interns throughout the internship to include pay, expenses, expectations for housing costs, and providing answers to questions
  • Manage external vendors and partner programs to support recruiting efforts including housing, parking, and travel
  • Partner with the communications team and campus champions to support campus branding efforts and virtual engagement strategies, including the campus and internship section of the website, social media efforts, marketing collateral, and campus displays
  • Develop and execute a logistics plan for packing and shipping all containers with the appropriate marketing and recruiting materials for campus fairs
  • Proactively conduct targeted searches on LinkedIn, Handshake, and other recruiting software to identify top talent at target campuses
  • Minimum of 50% travel required

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • 6+ years of related experience; construction industry experience is a plus
  • Previous experience utilizing Handshake for sourcing talent and posting positions
  • Strong proficiency with technical platforms such as Monday.com, Microsoft Office, Workday, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and event platforms (AmTrav)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Regular travel and on-campus presence required

Anticipated Starting Pay Range

$77,000.00- $115,000.00
