Combat Data Systems Engineer

Your responsibilities are:

• Design mission data file reprogramming solutions to support combat data systems
• Enhance weapon systems capabilities to identify, locate, and neutralize threats
• Assess and update F-35 Joint reprogramming hardware and software
• Cultivate expertise in DoD acquisition and systems engineering
• Utilize knowledge in fifth-generation fighter technology, AI, and electromagnetic sensor data
• Merge systems engineering with data fusion to develop tools that enhance combat identification and weapon targeting
• Translate real-world requirements into actionable engineering solutions

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of experience in engineering, technical acquisition, software development, or data analysis roles
• At least 3 years of experience in engineering design or requirements gathering
• Familiarity with sensor data
• Understanding of DoD acquisition and systems engineering methodologies
• Proficient in communication and coordination with extensive stakeholder groups
• Possession of a Secret clearance
• Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline
