Commercial Finance Analyst

ABOUT YOU

You have a strong appetite for the commercial controlling profession and have gained initial experience, ideally in consumer goods or in an audit firm.

Your academic background and professional experiences have allowed you to acquire a good financial culture as well as a mastery of accounting processes.

You are comfortable with numbers and have real ease with tools and data processing.

You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders with varied professions and expertise.

THE ROLE

As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will contribute to the commercial performance of Suntory Beverage & Food France by ensuring rigorous financial management of your scope and providing reliable and operational analytical support to the sales teams, in a spirit of collaboration and constructive challenge.

To this end, you will actively participate in the monthly closing, forecast, and budget processes, ensuring the quality and reliability of the data. You will produce variance analyses (vs budget, forecast, year N-1), identify short-term risks and opportunities, and prepare and update key reports.

On a daily basis, you will support Key Account Managers by providing them with relevant analyses and data for customer performance monitoring, business reviews, and negotiations. You will ensure clear and regular communication of performance levers and commercial objectives, and contribute to the reliability of volumes and their valuation.

You will strengthen the management of promotions and commercial budgets by monitoring the execution of operations, evaluating their performance and ROI, and analyzing deviations from plans. You will support sales teams in managing their internal budgets by ensuring a high level of internal control and compliance, particularly in regional and indirect cooperation, and will propose recommendations to improve promotional effectiveness.

You will contribute to the simplification, standardization, and automation of reporting and analyses, by disseminating best practices and adapted procedures, and will exploit data to improve the quality of insights on volume, price, mix, and profitability.

You will collaborate closely with the RGM, FP&A, and accounting teams to support the operational implementation of revenue growth management levers (price, mix, promotions, pack architecture), to meet deadlines for key deliverables (closings, forecasts, budget), and to provide clear and concise explanations, while ensuring the proper accounting of income statement items.

This fixed-term contract within our Finance department will give you the opportunity to be part of a young and dynamic team and to work alongside different types of controllers, Commercial, Marketing, Overheads, COGS, FP&A, with multiple opportunities for development.

YOUR PROFILE

With a higher education degree from a Business School or University specializing in Accounting, Controlling, and/or Auditing, you have initial professional experience gained within a consumer goods company with exposure to client negotiation or within an audit firm.

You are comfortable with IT tools and have a perfect command of Excel. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

With good interpersonal skills and a strong team spirit, you know how to make contact easily, you are involved, curious, and proactive.

You are recognized for your rigor, reliability, analytical and structured mind, as well as your ability to synthesize.

Proficiency in French is essential. A professional level of English is a plus.

Position to be filled as a fixed-term contract as soon as possible until the end of September 2026, based at our headquarters in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
