About the Opportunity
We're partnering with a well-established independent insurance agency seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to support and manage a growing book of small business clients.
This is a client-facing role with full account ownership, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and managing a steady, service-focused book of business.
What You'll Do
- Manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts across the full lifecycle
- Handle renewals, remarketing, and policy changes
- Prepare proposals and assist with binding coverage
- Issue certificates of insurance (COIs), ID cards, and related documentation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients via phone and virtual meetings
- Partner with producers on new business opportunities
- Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality service
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager
- Ability to independently manage a book of business
- Solid understanding of commercial insurance products and workflows
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Experience with an Agency Management System (any platform)
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
- Additional earning potential through new business participation and bonuses
