Role Overview

The partnerships team prides itself on being marketing and product experts. As a Commercial Partner Account Manager, you will own a book of active partners within our Commercial ecosystem — driving revenue growth, deepening relationships, and identifying new opportunities for Klaviyo and its partners to win together.

You will leverage strong consultative and deal‑making skills to understand your partners' business models and growth strategies, identifying ways Klaviyo can help them — and their clients — grow.

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of active partners as a trusted advisor, cultivating relationships with key leaders and decision makers — with a focus on those managing front‑line teams working with Klaviyo.
  • Drive partner revenue growth by identifying expansion opportunities and encouraging progression through tiers within our partner program.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each partner's organizational structure and business goals, and build a long‑term strategy to help them meet those goals alongside Klaviyo.
  • Carry and exceed revenue‑focused goals at the individual level.
  • Collaborate with a highly driven team to ensure success in attaining company‑wide goals and initiatives, while maintaining focus on revenue production.
  • Bring creative thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance Klaviyo's values, culture, and vision for the future.

Requirements

  • A relationship builder with a hunter mentality — you know how to open doors and keep them open.
  • Experienced in account executive, partnerships, and/or sales roles.
  • Thoughtful, engaging, and energetic.
  • Deeply curious about your partners' and customers' businesses.
  • Comfortable operating independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Confident presenting to large groups and positioning yourself as a thought leader.
  • Proactive in soliciting and acting on feedback from customers, partners, and peers.
  • Excited to contribute to and have an impact at a rapidly growing public company.
  • Positive, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3–5 years of SaaS account management, account executive, partner, and/or sales experience.
  • Collaborative partner to Sales, Enablement, CS, Marketing, and Product — helping solutions partners understand and leverage new Klaviyo platform enhancements.
