What you contribute
Become part of our SMO CS RS HI&CR BA team as a Commercial Project Manager (w/m/d) and take on commercial responsibility (w/m/d) for the mobilization of complex, high-volume service projects with a focus on Rolling Stock. You will play a central role in contract management and work closely with specialist departments and regional companies to realize economically successful solutions.
- You ensure the timely completion of the project based on defined KPIs, working closely with technical project management, specialist departments, and regional companies.
- Together with technical project management, you will present the project to management.
- You independently analyze contract documents and develop a contract, claim, and change order strategy.
- Together with technical project management, you will manage the project in terms of opportunities and risks.
- You will support technical project management in customer discussions and negotiations in all phases of project execution.
- You will take on commercial special tasks such as optimizing projects and processes (e.g., implementing "Lessons Learned" measures, developing guidelines, designing processes in BIC Cloud, participating in the introduction of Sherpa, and developing productivity measures).
- You will manage the international project team, if applicable, together with technical project management.
What you bring
- You have a Master's degree in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification.
- You have several years of professional experience in the Mobility business.
- Additionally, experience in the Real Estate sector is desirable.
- You have experience working in international teams.
- You have sound commercial knowledge and experience in bid and project calculation, including relevant financial KPIs.
- You are proficient in the PM@Siemens process and familiar with the LoA process.
- You have a certification as a Commercial Project Manager (w/m/d) according to PM@Siemens.
- You have comprehensive knowledge of project financing (financing models) and contractual security instruments (guarantees, bonds), and possess expertise in contract law, various business models, and accounting methods.
- You have extensive experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
- You are experienced in negotiation and presentation techniques, have fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken), and are willing to undertake regular business travel.
