Commercial Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, coordination, and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities to manage multiple stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, suppliers and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, initiate, and manage commercial construction projects (e.g., offices, retail, hospitality, healthcare)
• Produce contracts with subcontractors that align with scope obligations.
• Purchase the materials necessary to complete the contract scope per the plans and specifications.
• Develop project budgets, timelines, and work plans.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and contract documents.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to stay on schedule and budget.
• Regularly report on project status to senior management and clients.
• Negotiate contracts and change orders with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, RFIs, submittmits, and financial records.
• Visit the construction site to monitor progress.
• Manage the closeout process.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of commercial building systems, construction methods, and project management processes
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
• Proficiency in project management and construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
• OSHA certification or equivalent preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field required
