About the Role

As a Commercial Project Manager (w/m/d) for the Repair Business, you will be at the center of our repair activities, acting as a central commercial interface within a diverse, international internal network. Your daily work is varied: from coordinating repair shipments and refurbishment orders to close collaboration with functions such as Repair Strategy, Order Management, Warehouse, Export Control, Customs Consulting, and Logistics.

You will manage repair projects holistically from a commercial and financial perspective, ensuring transparency, compliance, and efficiency in all process steps. Furthermore, you will actively drive process improvements, digitalization initiatives, and new ways of working in the repair business. In this role, you will combine operational execution with a strong stakeholder focus and a continuous improvement mentality.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Definition and further development of repair-specific commercial processes in close coordination with internal partners
  • Ensuring the commercial processing of repair shipments in coordination with Order Management and coordination with Logistics and Export Control
  • Management of the commercial aspects of spare parts and refurbishment projects, including: creation of WBS elements and commercial orders in SAP KSP; preparation and coordination of shipments via Kanlog and FabaSoft; close cooperation with supporting functions (Export Control, Customs, Shipping Logistics, etc.); cost controlling, invoicing, and cost distribution; transparent documentation of project status and progress in SharePoint
  • Release of orders and processing of incoming invoices
  • Commercial processing of Service Level Agreements, including cost controlling and billing
  • Driving and implementing cross-functional special projects (e.g., process optimization, digitalization initiatives, or Lean projects)
  • Ensuring efficient and proactive communication with all relevant stakeholders

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree with a commercial focus or comparable professional experience
  • Sound experience in central commercial topics in product, project, or service business desirable
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office
  • Experience with Robotics and/or Alteryx an advantage
  • High degree of initiative as well as structured and results-oriented way of working
  • Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, team orientation, and social competence
  • Very good German skills and good English skills, both written and spoken

About the Team

Our Gas Services business unit offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Emission-free or low-emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines, and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
