Axiosys GmbH is an ambitious indie studio crafting Mawforged, a next-generation title built with Unreal Engine 5. We're passionate about creating immersive worlds, deep lore, and innovative gameplay systems that push boundaries.

Role Overview

We are looking for someone who can help us build the public side of Mawforged. This means community, social media, marketing, Discord, dev updates, creator outreach, and helping us explain the game properly to players. We do not need someone who only posts random content and disappears. We need someone who can look at the project and help answer simple but important questions:

• How do we make people care about Mawforged?
• How do we explain the game clearly?
• How do we grow the community before launch?
• How do we turn development progress into content people want to see?
• How do we make the project look alive without making fake promises?

What You'll Do

• Help manage the public presence of Mawforged
• Help grow and manage our Discord community
• Plan and write posts for platforms like Discord, X/Twitter, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Steam
• Help write dev updates, announcements, short posts, community messages, and simple marketing texts
• Work with the team to turn screenshots, clips, progress updates, and behind-the-scenes work into content
• Help prepare future wishlist, demo, playtest, and launch marketing
• Research similar games, communities, creators, and competitors
• Help find places where Mawforged should be promoted
• Support outreach to creators, streamers, press, communities, and possible partners
• Track what works and what does not
• Help keep our communication clear, honest, and consistent

You should have

• Good English writing skills
• Someone who understands social media and community building
• Someone who can write in a human way, not like a corporate template
• Interest in indie games, survival games, dark fantasy, crafting, RPGs, or similar genres
• Basic understanding of platforms like Discord, Reddit, TikTok, YouTube, Steam, X/Twitter, or Instagram
• Someone who can take initiative and suggest ideas
• Someone reliable who communicates properly
• Someone who understands that early-stage projects are messy and need structure
• Someone who can help us be visible without making the project feel fake or overhyped

Bonus Points

• Experience marketing an indie game, mod, community project, or startup
• Experience with Steam pages, wishlists, demos, playtests, or festivals
• Experience managing Discord communities
• Experience contacting streamers, YouTubers, creators, or gaming press
• Basic video editing or image editing skills
• Basic understanding of content calendars
• Basic understanding of SEO, analytics, trends, or paid ads
• Interest in lore, worldbuilding, and dark fantasy settings
• Experience creating devlogs, newsletters, or behind-the-scenes content
