About
Responsible for full statutory and regulatory compliance for a portfolio of clients, ensuring adherence to the Companies Act 71 of 2008, CIPC requirements, and related legislation.
Responsibilities
- Manage company secretarial and statutory compliance for clients and act as primary contact on secretarial matters.
- Provide governance and statutory guidance.
- Prepare and submit CIPC filings including annual returns, director changes, share transfers, amendments and company updates.
- Maintain statutory records and ensure Companies Act compliance.
- Prepare resolutions, minutes and corporate documents.
- Maintain statutory registers and audit-ready records.
- Handle incorporations, deregistrations, name changes, MOI amendments and share restructures.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely filings.
- Assist with beneficial ownership, FICA, PAIA and POPIA compliance.
- Liaise with partners, auditors, tax and accounting teams for integrated service delivery.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Company Secretarial Practice, Law or Accounting.
- Min 3 years’ CIPC compliance experience in a professional firm.
- Strong knowledge of Companies Act 71 of 2008 and CIPC e-services.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- ProfSec experience advantageous.
