About the role

Job Overview

The role encompasses day-to-day administration activities for several Complex Assets such as Private Equities, Hedge Funds, LP, Real Estate Funds, unlisted equities and bonds, Syndicated and Private Debt Loans. Candidates must demonstrate ability to perform well under pressure with strong attention to details and always adhere to procedures and governance documentation in order to mitigate the risk.

Main Responsibilities

  • End to End dealing process for Complex Assets
  • Maintaining primary day to day relationship with Asset Managers/Custodians
  • Review of limited partnership agreements, offering memoranda and other investment documents
  • Review all transactions including subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls and distributions in accordance with established guidelines
  • Manage Capital calls for existing and prospective Private Equity Investments
  • Review liquidity within the policy to meet future capital commitments within the policies
  • Providing guidance to front office/clients to ensure assets purchased are in line with permissibility deadline
  • Maintaining Complex Assets Database – ensuring all the transactions and current positions are correctly recorded and up-to-date
  • All trading documentation is stored in an organized manner
  • Managing internal workflow to ensure processing and client deadlines are met
  • Policy and Cash account reconciliation
  • Assisting in completing annual audit
  • Coordinating client deliverables, both with clients and internally, such as financial statements, capital calls and distribution notices
  • Maintaining excellent relationship with all client contacts, including investment professionals, investors, auditors
  • Participate in special client or internal projects as required
  • Assisting with continuous improvement of operational processes and systems, in line with controls and risk management in a regulatory environment
  • Completing any other tasks assigned to the role

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Experience with particular focus on Hedge and Private Equity Funds. Other asset types such as unlisted equities/bonds are desirable
  • Foster zero error environment
  • Demonstrate ability to follow set out processes, procedure and provide feedback for any updates required
  • Degree qualified (preferably in a discipline relevant to Financial Services)
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
  • 1+ years in middle office or transfer agency experience
  • Strong computer skills are required, especially Microsoft Office / MS Excel
  • Experience in dealing with High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals with the ability to solve issues efficiently and effectively
  • Strong communication skills
