Position Details

• Type: Contract
• Compensation: $75–$83/hour
• Location: Remote
• Commitment: ~20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Author, review, and annotate technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on computer science problems.
• Produce original problem sets grounded in performance benchmarks, system architecture charts, and algorithmic complexity figures.
• Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks to ensure task accuracy.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to improve training data quality and model outputs.
• Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• PhD in Computer Science, or MS in CS with 3+ years engineering, research, or teaching experience, or BS in CS with 5+ years software engineering, systems, or applied CS practice.
• Working fluency in at least two of: algorithms, systems, databases, networks, ML, theory of computation.
• Comfortable reading and interpreting performance benchmarks, system architecture charts, and algorithmic complexity figures.
• Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.

• Hourly contractor, Paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
