About the role
Overview
You will work on modern image processing solutions for industrial inspection processes, thereby driving real quality improvements in the production environment. You will develop algorithms and applications using libraries such as MVTec Halcon, OpenCV, or similar frameworks and use programming languages like C++, C# (.NET), or Python. You will be integrated into interdisciplinary teams and will be given space for personal development and learning new technologies such as Deep Learning. The role offers technically demanding tasks, short decision-making paths, and real opportunities for shaping processes.
Your Tasks
- Develop and implement image processing algorithms for automated inspection tasks
- Design tailor-made vision solutions in coordination with internal teams and external partners
- Integrate external I/O interfaces and PLC connections for system communication
- Design HMI displays for visualizing processes and results
- Support test and validation activities as well as the automation of release processes
- Maintain and expand existing software and perform error analysis
- Create project documentation and accompanying status reports
Your Profile
- Completed technical degree or comparable training with practical relevance
- Initial practical experience with image processing libraries such as MVTec Halcon or OpenCV
- Knowledge in .NET development with Visual Studio and experience in C++ or Python
- Practical understanding of HMI design and PLC/I-O integration
- Analytical thinking, independent working style, and high willingness to learn
- Interest in Deep Learning approaches is an advantage
