About
S-Works Construction Corporation is seeking a highly driven Associate Project Manager with strong leadership, technical, and interpersonal skills to manage government commercial construction projects and contracts. If you believe you are the best candidate, please send us your resume.
Daily Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Project Manager for day-to-day administrative project coordination (RFIs, submittals, subcontractor bid coordination, general project administration).
- Manage multiple JOC construction task order projects using established project standard operating procedures.
- Lead and maintain a positive work environment.
- Uphold S-Works Construction safety culture and standards, ensuring compliance with all safety policies on projects and proper reporting.
- Collaborate with owners, architects, and engineers to develop the scope and specifications of new projects.
- Prepare and submit proposals in a timely manner.
- Create and manage the project budget for all assigned projects.
- Manage subcontractor procurement and contracting.
- Perform project scheduling, including resource management and establishing overall project logistics.
- Partner with Superintendents and other site operations team members throughout projects.
- Manage project closeout and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualified candidates have the following skills and knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Project) and other software's, including but not limited to Bluebeam, Procore, and Adobe, and Sage.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of IBC and code requirements.
- Able to read and interpret building plans and specifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience Requirements
- 2+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects, or an undergraduate degree from an accredited university in engineering, building construction, construction management, or similarly related field.
- Graduate degree in an applicable field is a plus.
- Preferred experience in managing government IDIQ/JOC contracts.
- Preferred experience with estimating software such as eGordian, e4Clicks, RS Means, etc.
