About the role
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and expertise in quality control and inspection. At A1 Global College of Health, Business & Technology, we are dedicated to equipping students with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in Canada’s dynamic construction industry. Our 48-week Construction Management diploma program combines theoretical learning with hands-on training, preparing graduates to effectively manage construction sites, oversee project timelines and budgets, and ensure quality and compliance in every phase of a build.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instructional content in accordance with the approved Construction Management curriculum.
- Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing timely feedback and support to enhance learning outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date academic records for all students.
- Adhere to scheduled instructional hours and ensure all course objectives are met.
- Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements throughout course delivery.
- Utilize project management tools (MS Project, Asana, Jira, Smartsheet) in teaching and practical sessions.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students, fostering professional development.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Campus Manager or Campus Director.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field with a strong understanding of construction processes.
- Knowledge of construction estimating, project management tools, and scheduling software.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or IT.
- PMP certification is mandatory.
- 3–5 years of project/program management experience using PMI standards.
- Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Asana, Jira, Smartsheet).
- Teaching or mentoring experience in PMBOK-based courses preferred.

- Job Type: Part-time
- Pay: $23.00‑$25.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 20 per week
- Work Location: Remote
