Location: Pasadena, MD
Company Overview
A reputable commercial construction firm focused on fast-paced retail and distribution projects is seeking a driven Construction Project Manager. With a consistent backlog of work and a collaborative team environment, this organization offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects from preconstruction through completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
- Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
- Lead project planning, including scope review, buyout, and procurement
- Monitor job costs, track progress, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
- Review and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, contracts, and quality expectations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
- PMP certification preferred (or required based on experience level)
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and cost control
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working on retail and/or distribution projects is a plus
- Willingness to travel as needed across the Mid-Atlantic region
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary of $105,000 - $130,000 depending on experience/qualifications
- Car allowance, gas card, and toll coverage
