Construction Project Manager

Our client is a leading construction firm looking for a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee significant projects in Calabar, Cross River, NG . This is a challenging and rewarding role responsible for the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects on time and within budget. The Project Manager will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial conception and feasibility studies through to final handover. Key responsibilities include developing project plans, defining project scope, and establishing detailed schedules. You will manage project budgets, control costs, and oversee procurement processes. This role requires leading and coordinating project teams, including engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring effective collaboration and communication. Risk management, quality control, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and building codes are paramount. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects, demonstrating strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is essential. Professional certifications such as PMP are highly valued. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in construction project management is required, with experience in managing diverse project types being an advantage. Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards is necessary.
