Role Overview

We’re looking for a high-level operator to run 30-50 residential renovation and addition projects per year. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment with structure in place. You will manage 3–4 active projects at a time with support from 2 foremen and established crews.

What this role actually is

This is not a coordinator position.

Responsibilities

• Running projects from demo to completion
• Managing crews and subcontractors (Spanish + English required)
• Solving problems in the field daily
• Keeping jobs on schedule and on budget
• Maintaining quality and passing inspections
• Communicating clearly and consistently

Project Mix

• ~30% cosmetic renovations
• ~50% full renovations
• ~20% gut renovations and structural work

Systems & Structure

• Established processes and repeatable systems
• Daily updates required (photos + notes) in JobTread
• Supported by in-house crews and subcontractors
• After 30 days, company card provided for small purchases
• Large purchases require approval
• You report directly to ownership

Expectations

• Strong communication is non‑negotiable
• You are expected to make decisions and take ownership
• This role is an extension of leadership, not task management
• You must be able to manage multiple jobs without things slipping

If you need constant direction, this is not for you.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Occasional Saturdays depending on project needs (typically half day)

Office is located in Raleigh, NC; we work within 1 hr or less of main office.

Pay

• $72,000 base salary + performance bonuses
• Up to $1,500 per project
• Top performers earn $110k–$140k+ total compensation

Bonuses are tied directly to:

• Budget
• Timeline
• Quality

Pay range: $90,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year

Requirements

• Ability to manage 3–4 active projects simultaneously
• Bilingual (Spanish + English) preferred
• Strong communication and decision‑making skills
• Ability to work independently without constant direction
