Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and forward‑thinking Construction Superintendent to lead field operations and ensure the successful execution of all project activities. As a key site leader, you will oversee daily construction tasks, coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive project schedules to completion. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a productive, safety‑driven, and collaborative jobsite culture that supports exceptional workmanship and efficient project delivery.
Duties
- Oversee day‑to‑day field operations, ensuring all construction activities align with project plans, specifications, and safety requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project schedules to meet milestones and deadlines.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on‑site personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to building codes and company standards.
- Manage jobsite logistics, including equipment allocation, material deliveries, and site organization.
- Enforce safety protocols, lead toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
- Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, cost tracking, change orders, and resource planning.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, documentation, and communication logs to support project transparency and accountability.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, inspectors, engineers, and stakeholders to support project goals and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising construction crews with a strong background in field operations and project coordination.
- Demonstrated expertise in reading blueprints, interpreting construction documents, and managing schedules.
- Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Solid understanding of construction safety standards, building codes, and quality control practices.
- Excellent communication skills for working with subcontractors, clients, inspectors, and internal teams.
- Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Prior experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or similar construction leadership role is highly desirable.
Pay
$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
