THE MISSION (AKA WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS)
This Construction/Project Manager role isn’t just about managing timelines and budgets, it’s about leading the charge. Reporting to ownership, this person will be the point guard on all construction projects, ensuring everything runs on time, on budget, and on-brand. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead projects with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and trades
- Ensure project profitability, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction
- Oversee all project admin, documentation, and scheduling using technology and BuilderTrend
- Monitor budgets, timelines, risks, and quality with the site team and leadership
- Resolve disputes efficiently and cost-effectively
- Lead project meetings as they are required and ensure clear communication across stakeholders
- Oversee full project life cycle, including close-out, warranty, and documentation
- Ensure safety and compliance with contract and regulatory obligations
- Collaborate with the estimating and project coordination departments, provide leadership to align project goals
- Supervise and support project team members
- Liaise with inspectors, authorities, and regulatory bodies
- Support business development through proposals and tender participation
- Management of inventory, equipment and material
- Available on emergency situations by phone and/or email
- Review and follow up with emails in a timely manner
- Making positive recommendations to improve corporate positioning
- Maintain minimum amount of working hours to ensure work is being completed (Monday – Friday, Saturdays as required)
- Meeting Pine Glen construction high level of quality
- Meeting Pine Glen construction completion timing of each type of project without delays
- Overseeing all service matters including PDI service items and completing them in a timely and cost effective manner
- Fulfill other duties as needed to support project and company success
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE
- Proven leadership skills in guiding, coaching, and developing project teams
- Ability to set clear expectations, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews
- Deep experience in the construction industry, with a commitment to continued growth
- Strong communication, organization, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently
- Accountability
- High proficiency with BuilderTrend, Excel project scheduling, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to read and understand all drawings, architectural, mechanical, engineering, etc.
- A sharp eye on the bottom line — from negotiating purchase orders to managing invoices, expenses, and project profitability
- Comfort navigating both office and on-site environments, with the physical readiness to move across varied terrain, climb ladders, and carry materials as needed
- Willingness to travel to project sites and thrive in all-season, fast-paced construction settings.
