Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Data Analytics Engineer to join our team in Paris. You will be responsible for designing and deploying high-performance data analysis solutions, leveraging Azure and Microsoft Fabric technologies.

YOUR ROLE ON OUR PROJECTS:

You will be involved in projects such as:

• Setting up Modern Data Platforms
• Real-time interconnection of operational applications

Within project teams, your role will be to:

• Develop and implement end-to-end data analysis solutions using Azure and Microsoft Fabric
• Design and optimize data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines for efficient processing
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Implement data governance and security measures to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Develop and maintain data warehouses and data lakes using Azure technologies
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data analysis
• Use Microsoft Fabric to create and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards
• Continuously monitor and optimize data analysis processes to improve performance and efficiency

YOUR ROLE AT TALAN:

Within the Tech For Data division, you will contribute to the growth and prosperity of the community through the following activities:

• Solution benchmarking and consulting for our clients on technological solutions to adopt, in line with their needs
• Carrying out POCs (Proof of Concept)
• Knowledge sharing and internal training
• Obtaining certifications
• Technological watch
• Participation in writing responses to calls for tenders

Qualifications

You hold a Master's degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Data, or equivalent, and have at least 5 years of experience in data integration, processing, and quality issues. You have implemented complex data flows on Microsoft Azure, and ideally, you also master other data processing solutions.

You have experience in environments integrating Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data services, including:

• Azure Data Factory
• Azure SQL
• Azure Synapse (SQL pool, Spark pool)
• Azure Blob Storage
• Azure Data Lake

You master data modeling principles and data architectures such as Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Datamarts. Knowledge of the Data Vault model would be an additional asset.

You are comfortable in environments with complex and evolving data models, and you know how to adapt your solutions to business needs.

With excellent interpersonal skills, you are recognized for your ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are proactive, capable of mobilizing others around your ideas and projects.

Finally, you are comfortable working in a DataOps context, with good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).

Proficiency in Agile methodology is a plus.
