As part of our strong growth, we are looking for a Data Management / BCBS239 Expert Consultant on a permanent contract within our Data & IA Business Unit. The position is to be filled as soon as possible.

Mission

By joining our Data & IA Business Unit, you will be involved in strategic missions with high added value:

For our banking sector clients:

  • Lead and deliver consulting missions in Data Management and risk data governance (BCBS239, RDARR - Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting)
  • Support banking institutions in their BCBS239 regulatory compliance: maturity assessment, roadmap definition, transformation program management
  • Design and implement data repositories, governance frameworks, and data quality policies (Data Quality Management)
  • Structure risk data aggregation processes and optimize regulatory reporting chains (COREP, FINREP, SURFI)
  • Define target data architectures (Data Architecture), map flows, and implement Data Lineage
  • Support the transformation of risk information systems and the modernization of data infrastructures
  • Ensure skills transfer and train client teams in Data Management best practices

Internally:

  • Contribute to the Business Unit's commercial development and participate in recruitment
  • Conduct Research & Development studies on innovations in Data Management, data governance, and banking regulation
  • Capitalize on feedback and enrich internal methodologies
  • Lead training sessions and represent Nexialog at industry conferences

Profile

You have the profile we are looking for if:

  • You are a graduate of a top engineering school or business school with a specialization in finance, risk, or information systems. Double degrees are particularly appreciated.
  • You have at least 6 years of experience in Data Management, data governance, or BCBS239/RDARR regulatory compliance, acquired imperatively in the banking sector. Significant experience in a consulting firm is a real asset.
  • You have recognized expertise in banking regulation (BCBS239, CRR/CRD, Basel III/IV), Data Management (Data Governance, Data Quality, MDM - Master Data Management, Metadata Management), and solid knowledge of banking risk areas (credit, market, operational, liquidity, ALM).
  • You master data governance methodologies (DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM), Data Quality tools (Talend, Informatica, Ataccama), databases (SQL, Oracle, SQL Server), and data architecture concepts (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Lineage).
  • You demonstrate a strong ability to interact with Risk, Finance, IT, and Compliance departments. You are recognized for your methodological rigor, analytical skills, ability to manage complex projects, and customer service orientation. Your technical expertise is complemented by excellent communication and teaching skills.
  • You have professional English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Recruitment Process

  • A recruitment interview with an Account Manager and a Recruitment Officer.
  • A technical interview with a Manager (or a Senior Consultant).
  • A motivation interview with one of the Business Unit Directors.
