As a Consultant for MES, you will be part of a dynamic team specializing in the conception, configuration, and implementation of our software solution NuPMES. This innovative software links ERP systems with state-of-the-art machine and plant controls, particularly in the areas of operational and machine data acquisition (BDE/MDE) for our customers in the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Creation and development of concepts for operational and machine data acquisition (BDE/MDE) together with our customers, taking into account the respective preceding systems, machines, and plants
• Configuration of our software solution NuPMES
• Taking on the role of contact person for our product development
• Coordination of new requirements as a change request in agreement with the project manager and integration into the customer project
• Execution of integration tests with our customers and support of go-live after successful release

Requirements

Your Prerequisites

• Completed technical degree and/or several years of professional experience in manufacturing companies, particularly in the areas of production planning and control, logistics, operational data acquisition, or machine connectivity
• Desirable: Knowledge in the area of machine control
• Strong service and customer orientation as well as excellent contact and communication skills
• High commitment, reliability, and self-responsibility combined with strong team orientation
• Analytical and methodical thinking and working style
• Willingness to travel as well as flexibility and resilience
• Desirable: Good English skills

Application Process

• First telephone interview (getting to know each other, understanding applicant motivation & matching framework conditions)
• Initial online interview with the specialist department & HR (mutual getting to know each other, understanding the advertised position)
• Follow-up interview with case study/presentation task at the headquarters in Meerane with management, specialist department & team leadership, and HR (personal acquaintance, presentation of the results of the previously submitted task, exchange & discussion of technical topics, answering all remaining questions)
