Position Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Consumer Products Product Manager! In this pivotal role, reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and launch innovative consumer products. You'll develop robust go‑to‑market strategies and work with both domestic and global team members to introduce new products in a competitive market landscape.
This position requires a deep understanding of consumer needs and behaviors, enabling you to create products that not only address challenges but also deliver exceptional user experiences.
Key responsibilities include overseeing pricing strategies, managing marketing communications with sales and retailers, coordinating promotional efforts, and continuously assessing account programs for viability. You'll also conduct competitive analyses and gather internal feedback to shape product strategies that maximize sales performance.
This is a hybrid role based in our Valhalla, NY office.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead successful product launches and coordinate cross‑functional efforts to define effective go‑to‑market strategies.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept through to end‑of‑life, optimizing for sustained growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with supply chain management teams to ensure alignment on product availability and delivery schedules.
- Own the promotional roadmap for consumer‑facing promotions, aligning efforts with departmental and company objectives.
- Review product design and compliance elements, including app connectivity and packaging regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive consumer research to understand needs and preferences, guiding product decisions.
- Ensure all product activities align with legal compliance and industry standards.
- Handle administrative tasks related to product setup and cross‑functional coordination.
- Manage product data in SAP, including pricing adjustments.
- Oversee accessory category development tailored to retailer‑specific needs.
- Participate actively in product and planning meetings.

Additional Responsibilities
- Work with the Senior Product Manager to develop and implement annual product plans.
- Execute promotional programs on time while adhering to pricing guidelines.
- Drive product lifecycle for Instax offerings, including SKU management.
- Manage documentation tasks such as packaging artwork, product copy, and user guides.
- Maintain and oversee the Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) program.
- Optimize marketing communications for US consumer engagement with all product materials.
- Foster daily communication with sales and supply chain teams for smooth operations.
- Lead internal calls and direct SCM team on inventory and forecast guidance.
- Support retail merchandising development across US channels.
- Assist in evaluating new product features, naming, and overall viability.
- Gain insights into the customer journey and retail environment, making informed recommendations on product assortment and pricing.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify market needs and opportunities.
- Prepare and present product presentations for internal and external stakeholders as required.
Required Skills/Education
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience; 5‑7+ years in product management and marketing.
- Solid understanding of product lifecycle management.
- Experience working with supply chain management teams.
- Able to navigate international team dynamics seamlessly.
- Proven ability to develop and execute product initiatives effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing timelines and manage multiple projects efficiently.
