The Role
We are seeking an ambitious Content Lead for Courses & Events to own the full programming for Ashby One London, scale talent leader courses for the EMEA region, and build on the development of our events content strategy in partnership with Elizabel Riggs. This role is at the intersection of brand, community, and content, offering a unique opportunity to shape how Ashby engages with its audience.
What you’ll be responsible for in this role
- EMEA Conferences and Events: Own the content roadmap and asset development for upcoming EMEA conferences and events. Understand the target audience, leverage internal and external experts, and create captivating content that stays relevant for the fast-moving industry.
- Program Scaling: Scale existing course and certification programs, ensuring content remains relevant and engaging for our core community.
- Customer Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of our customer by listening to customer calls weekly and ensuring content directly supports their needs.
- Principled Thinking: Apply principled thinking over experience, encouraging free thought and confidence in intuition rather than relying on traditional playbooks or competitor analysis.
- End-to-End Marketing: Own all operational work around content programs, including writing copy for social media, landing pages, emails, and working with RevOps on target lists.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Partnerships, Events, and Community teams to ensure alignment on goals, campaign approaches, and processes.

- You rely solely on SEO for research and do not prioritize understanding the ICP.
- You are not interested in learning SaaS products and our platform.
- You operate solely off specific traffic or lead gen KPIs.
- You are looking for a traditional content career path.
- You struggle to work independently in a low-meeting, autonomous culture.
Interview Plan

- 45-minute interview with Anum Hussain (Hiring Manager)
- 30-minute interview with Elizabel Riggs, Content Lead - Courses & Events
- A take-home assignment with a 1-hour discussion with the hiring team
- A 1-hour virtual on-site with a panel of interviewers from our Marketing team
- A 30-minute final round with a member of Ashby’s executive team
