JOB SUMMARY
The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, producing, and managing high-quality, brand-aligned content across digital and multimedia channels. This role serves as the central point of accountability for content execution, ensuring consistency, timeliness, and alignment with overall marketing strategy.
As marketing programs, website experiences, and multimedia storytelling continue to scale including sponsor and member-facing content initiatives this role plays a critical part in elevating content quality, strengthening brand voice, and driving campaign performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and manage the editorial calendar across all marketing channels, ensuring content is strategically planned and delivered on time.
- Develop, write, and oversee content across formats including web, email, multimedia, and digital campaigns.
- Own end-to-end podcast production, including guest coordination, content planning, recording oversight, editing, and publishing.
- Ensure all content is aligned with brand voice, messaging standards, and organizational priorities.
- Partner closely with the Website Experience Specialist to publish,optimize, andmaintaincontent within the CMS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input, align messaging, and support campaign execution.
- Optimizecontent for performance, including SEO, user experience, and engagement metrics.
- Maintain content quality and consistency while reducing bottlenecks in the production process.
- Monitor and analyze content performance, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Associates degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of content marketing, digital marketing, or a related experience.
- Superior organization skills, and an ability to manage multiple projects in asuper-fastpaced environment.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple content formats.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
- Strong knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) preferably experience with WordPress.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver).
- Strong communication skills and must be able respond to internal staff requests in a clear and effective manner.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree.
- Association and/or travel industry knowledge preferred.
- Multi-lingual is a plus.
- Knowledge of email marketing software.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Remote work environment.
- Prolonged periods sitting/remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to remain stationary and move for long periods of time, during events.
- Must be able to work a variety of hours in order to accommodate various meetings and events.

TRAVEL REQUIRED
- Up to 5%; travel to Annual Convention and other GBTA events/meetings as needed.
