CONTRACT ELECTRICIAN

CME Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Contract Electrician for a fast-paced production environment in Cape Town.

This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on, technically strong individual who is immediately available and experienced within high-speed manufacturing environments.

Requirements

• Trade Tested Electrician (Essential)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Food, Packaging, Pharmaceutical or similar FMCG environment
• Proven experience in a fast-moving production environment
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience on production machinery
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-speed operational environment

Key Criteria (Non-Negotiable):

• Must be currently residing in Cape Town
• Must be available immediately
• Must have a stable employment history

Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs on production equipment
• Ensure minimal downtime and optimal plant performance
• Preventative and reactive maintenance
• Adherence to safety and compliance standards
• Support production teams in resolving electrical issues quickly and effectively
