Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and managing the Town’s budgets
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and supporting documents
• Oversee reconciliations and journal entries in accounting
• Maintain accurate records of asset and fixed asset ledgers
• Monitor budget performance and recommend improvements

Requirements:

• University degree in a related field
• Professional accounting designation is an asset
• 3-5 years in accounting/finance, ideally in municipal context
• Willingness to work outside standard hours when needed
• Strong understanding of financial reporting practices
