We have an immediate requirement for a Contract Systems Administrator for a 6 months contract designing, building, supporting, and maintaining secure, high-quality infrastructure solutions, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft technologies. This team leads the delivery of security-driven infrastructure projects and architectural changes that strengthen the organisation’s overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading cybersecurity infrastructure initiatives within a critical 24/7 operational environment
• Implementing best-practice designs for scalability, resilience, and security
• Managing vulnerability remediation and security patching
• Supports audit readiness through high-quality documentation
• Ensures system health through regular administration tasks
• Continuously improves team processes and operational efficiency

Requirements

• Over five years of senior-level experience in Microsoft technologies within a large enterprise environment
• Strong technical expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, networking concepts, and backup solutions
• Must have an MCSA, MCP, or CCNA
• Experience with VMware, storage technologies, Linux environments, and automation tools such as Python, Ansible, and REST APIs is desirable
• Excellent analytical, communication, organisational, and documentation abilities
• Experience working within structured process frameworks such as ITIL
• Highly skilled infrastructure professional with a security-first mindset and a commitment to operational excellence
• Candidates must have an Irish/EU/UK Passport or a Stamp 4 to apply
