Position Description
Join the Software Engineering Department developing all software products necessary for weapon systems operation. Within the HMI Software Service, you will contribute to operational software such as command centers, mission preparation, or tools.
- Command centers assist decision-making for missile engagement plans.
- Mission preparation readies data for mission execution.
- Analysis and data processing tools support system validation and qualification.
These operational software use complex technologies: Front/Back End HMI (cartographic representation, 2D/3D, virtual/augmented reality, video), complex architectures (client-server, middleware, data management).
You will join a team of about twenty young, dynamic, and curious people eager to try new development methodologies.
Objective of the Alternance
Contribute to software design and development activities to support integration of new methods and technologies on future products.
Your tasks:
- Analyze software team needs.
- Contribute to software design.
- Participate in writing software specifications.
- Perform expected developments.
- Test developed software.
You will also have the opportunity to propose ideas and initiate projects within the company's innovative framework.
Compensation and Benefits
- Fixed salary above legal minimum.

Candidate Profile
- Soon entering third year of an engineering cycle or equivalent with specialization in Industrial Computing and/or Software.
- Knowledge in software development applied to human-machine interfaces (HMI).
- Initial skills in Java programming and software architecture.
- Good level of English required due to international environment.

- Duration: 1 year
- Start date: from 01/09/2026 (flexible)
- Contract type: professionalization contract (training costs covered by company/school)
Additional Information
- The alternance may require access to classified defense information; the holder will undergo a security clearance procedure according to French defense regulations.
