BlueAlp

About the role

Control Design Engineer

Ready to accelerate plastic recycling by becoming part of a fast‑growing climate technology company? Our Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Team is expanding to realize BlueAlp’s ambition to make all plastic fully circular.

BlueAlp – accelerating plastic recycling

Over the years, the discovery of plastic has added great value to the world. However, only 9 % of plastic waste is recycled (15 % is collected for recycling but 40 % of that is disposed of as residues). Another 19 % is incinerated, 50 % ends up in landfill and 22 % evades waste management systems and goes into uncontrolled dumpsites, is burned in open pits, or ends up in terrestrial or aquatic environments. Plastic waste pollution has been and continues to be a global challenge.

BlueAlp's technology aims at revolutionizing the production of plastic through advanced recycling. As a company and as innovators, our mission is to dramatically accelerate the amount of plastic that is recycled, upcycled, and given an infinite life. We believe our plastic‑to‑oil recycling technology is a game changer in plastic circularity transition and key to make plastic fully circular.

If our mission for circular plastics resonates then read on to explore if this role is for you!
