Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Control Systems Software Engineer to provide technical programming, commissioning, and support for industrial automation systems across North America. This role focuses on developing and implementing control software for PLCs, HMIs, and associated systems, primarily within Radiopharma, Pharma, and Cell & Gene Therapy (ATMP) projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams, support validation activities, and ensure high-quality system delivery from design through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

· Analyze project technical specifications to ensure alignment with project goals.

· Develop, test, and deploy control system software according to project timelines.

· Program PLCs and HMIs using platforms such as Siemens and Rockwell.

· Draft and maintain technical documentation across project phases.

· Participate in technical alignment meetings and provide progress updates.

· Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).

· Oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems on-site.

· Manage and support project teams to meet objectives and deadlines.

· Identify and resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with quality standards.

· Contribute to system design, including component selection and network architecture.

· Propose improvements and standardization initiatives.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

· 3+ years of experience in control systems software engineering.

· Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal, Step7, Rockwell, or B&R).

· Experience with SCADA/HMI systems (Siemens WinCC, Movicon, Rockwell, or B&R).
