Your Role

As a Project Assistant in the Instrumentation and Aerospace Equipment Research Unit, you will support a team of 15 engineers and technicians. Your responsibilities will include:

Main Responsibilities

  • Client Support:
    • Prepare milestone completion documentation (PMAC).
    • Manage project documentation via the ESA system and ensure traceability.
    • Contribute to reporting and drafting the Progress Report by providing necessary inputs.
  • Internal Project Management:
    • Gather deliverables for client billing.
    • Track and manage project actions until closure.
    • Monitor costs and prepare periodic summaries in coordination with the Project Manager.
  • Occasional Tasks:
    • Propose and establish performance indicators.
    • Manage documentation on the server and suggest improvements.
    • Assist in project communication both internally and externally.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will interact daily with engineers and technicians to enhance project management processes.

Working Conditions

This position is offered as a Permanent Contract for a Project or Research Operation related to the NGGM project, with an expected duration of 60 months.

Requirements

  • Diploma of BAC+2 or equivalent experience in project assistance or documentation management.
  • Knowledge of project management principles (time tracking, cost summaries, etc.).
  • Strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in English (reading and writing) and good writing skills in both English and French.
  • Experience with MS Office (especially Excel); knowledge of SAP is a plus.
