Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Copywriter II to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.
Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert Pay Rate: Starting from $30 per hour Location: Waterloo, ON Location Type: Hybrid Business Hours: Monday-Friday; Core Business Hours
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute content and copy that aligns with campaign objectives and strategies, including lead generation, retention, up sell/cross sell, retention and awareness programs
- Create high-quality, engaging and informative content for online and offline channels, including but not limited to integrated multi-tactic campaigns, emails, web pages, social media and blog posts, print ads, direct mail campaigns and more
- Deliver a consistently high quality of creative concept/copy and marketing ideas and approaches
- Use SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines where applicable
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics such as page views, engagement rates, click-through rates, and conversions to drive business results and help inform future strategies
- Participate in agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retros) and collaborate closely with designers, product, and marketing within the creative squad
- Ability to write within regulatory guidelines and collaborate with compliance partners to ensure content accuracy
- Contribute to creative ideation and work with designers to bring concepts to life
Experience & Qualification Requirement
- A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in content creation
