We are partnering with a leading, global industrial manufacturer to support their search for a Corporate Account Manager to represent their business across British Columbia, with a primary focus on the Greater Vancouver market.
This is a high-impact, externally facing role responsible for managing and growing strategic, large-scale corporate accounts. The successful candidate will act as the senior commercial representative in the region, owning key relationships and driving long-term, profitable growth within a competitive and evolving market.
The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, this role carries full responsibility for account strategy, customer relationships, and regional market growth. You will work autonomously while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders across sales, operations, supply chain, and product development.
This position is ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives in relationship-led sales, strategic account management, and market development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic and large corporate accounts across British Columbia
- Develop and execute account strategies, including pricing, service models, and long-term agreements
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, building relationships at all levels, including executive stakeholders
- Identify and secure new business opportunities while optimizing existing accounts for profitability
- Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions aligned with business objectives
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry dynamics to inform strategy
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Prepare and manage sales forecasts, reporting, and performance metrics
- Contribute to the development of annual business plans and long-term market strategies
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in account management, strategic sales, or business development within an industrial, manufacturing, or related environment
- Strong experience managing large, complex B2B accounts
- Proven ability in negotiation, pricing strategy, and closing high-value deals
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with sales forecasting, CRM tools, and data-driven decision-making
- Highly self-directed with the ability to operate independently in a regional role
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within BC
Industry experience within steel, metals, or manufacturing is considered an asset but not required.
Work Environment
- Hybrid model with a mix of in-office, remote, and client-facing travel
- Based in the Greater Vancouver Area
- Regular travel within British Columbia, with occasional travel outside the province as required
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary in the range of $100,000 – $130,000, depending on experience
