About the role

Senior Corporate Administrator - English & Italian speaker

We are looking for an Accountant with approximately 2 years of professional experience to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate has a solid accounting background and a basic understanding of corporate secretarial activities. The role involves supporting day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and assisting with corporate compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Finance

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable and journal entries.
  • Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements.
  • Handle VAT and tax-related documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
  • Provide support in corporate administration related matters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance
  • Italian proficiency is essential
  • Approximately 2 years of experience in accounting. Previous experience/training at a chartered accounting firm is considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance /AML KYC and secretarial practices
  • Manage corporate documentation for the incorporation and liquidation of companies
  • Good understanding of accounting principles
  • Fluent English knowledge (written & conversational) is essential
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Zucchetti and/or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Organized and accurate in working methodologies with an eye for the detail and ability to work in a cross functional stakeholder environment
  • Discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information
