Corporate Accountant

About

Our client, a product development and manufacturing organization delivering cutting edge solutions to the medical industry, is seeking an accountant to support their manufacturing operations by supporting their expanding finance team preparing for rapid company expansion.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or relatable finance field with 3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment requiring GAAP knowledge

Responsibilities

• Manage journal entries and reconciliations ensuring adherence to month end close activities
• Prepare financial reporting and enforcement of internal controls and accounting policies
• Support account payable and receivable processes
• Lead efforts on fixed assets analysis
• Oversee preparing of tax filings

Preferred Education/Experience

• Undergraduate or Masters degree in Accounting with direct experience supporting inventory and fixed asset porfolio in FDA regulated manufacturing environment
• Experience leveraging NetSuite application for complex accounting needs
• Certified Public Accountant
• Support of a business expansion or start-up environment
• Experience supporting international operations
