Key Responsibilities
Month-End & Quarter-End Close
- Assist with the monthly and quarterly close processes
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Maintain adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls
- Support journal entries, reconciliations, and closing deliverables
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze variances, identify trends, and recommend necessary adjustments
- Perform account reconciliations and develop supporting schedules
- Work with large datasets to evaluate performance metrics
Business Partnership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting issues
- Support planning, forecasting, and strategic business decisions
- Present financial insights and results to leadership as required
Audit & Regulatory Support
- Assist with internal and external audit activities
- Support regulatory reporting and respond to data requests
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancements
- Engage in projects related to systems, reporting, and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in public accounting
