Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking a Corporate Finance Analyst for a new opportunity with our client in Greensboro. The Corporate Finance Analyst will be responsible for daily sales and margin reporting, monthly performance analysis, forecasting revenue, margin, and supporting financial modeling and real estate strategy initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and communicate daily sales and margin reporting, highlighting trends and variances.
  • Analyze monthly actual store results versus plan/forecast, providing clear commentary and insights.
  • Forecast future months’ revenue, gross margin and SG&A, partnering with cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Assist the Director with financial modeling for new store openings, including sales, margin, payroll and occupancy assumptions.
  • Support real estate strategy analyses (e.g., site performance, portfolio scenarios, payback/ROI, sensitivity analyses).

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of financial analysis experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with retail KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV, units per transaction) and margin drivers.
  • Familiarity with budgeting/forecasting processes and SG&A management.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to partner effectively with Store Operations and Real Estate teams.

Requirements
