About the role
Summary
This contractor role will provide bandwidth to augment all super user duties as noted below and will focus primarily on the following areas:
- System Testing-Timely planning, scheduling, and executing system tests per the program schedule (SIT and UAT); documenting or auditing test results (Q-Test); and creating/following up on defects or test data needs. This includes self-performance of tests and tests performed by the user community
- Documentation—draft work instruction documents (WIDs) and support of training content development
- Master Data Conversion-Assist with data loads and validation during Dress Rehearsal and Deploy phases of the program
The Super User will lead the successful adoption, integration, and implementation of the new s4Hana solution, and global processes, across our organization. As a Super User you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition to s4Hana, empower employees to embrace the changes, and drive improved operational efficiency and customer experiences. This role requires you to gain a deep understanding of s4Hana, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving innovation.
Responsibilities
The candidate will be required to assume certain responsibilities outlined below
- System Testing: In partnership with project resources and stakeholders, lead all aspects of system and user testing: write scripts, plan and schedule testing resources, document testing scripts, report testing progress and completeness to leadership, audit testing effectiveness and completeness, self-perform certain testing, drive timely and effective defect resolution, and ensure tests align with business requirements.
- User Training: Develop, plan, schedule, and deliver training programs in collaboration with EY to educate end-users about the new S4Hana solution and processes. Create training materials, lead and facilitate training workshops, and provide ongoing support to ensure users are proficient and confident in utilizing the new system.
- System Implementation: Lead and support system cutover activities including inventory and standard cost reconciliations and associated financial roll-forward analyses; provide on-site support during go-live for users or driving cutover procedures, and drive solutioning/defect resolution during and after hypercare support.
- Reporting and Analytics: The superuser will gather and fulfill reporting requirements with business users using standard and custom tools. Lead the finalization of reporting scope by (a) collaborating with the end users and implementation partner to perform the analysis of gaps against standard SAP solutions and (b) socializing the business use case to leadership for justification and approval of custom development of such gaps
- Master Data Conversion: Lead all master data activities for the workstream including mock loads, cleansing, dress rehearsals, and load verifications to prepare the new system for use. Partner with stakeholders and other workstreams to address data gaps and ensure integrity
- S4Hana Expertise: Work closely with EY (SI Partner) to develop a comprehensive understanding of S4Hana. Learn all aspects related to the tools' functionalities, usage, and best practices as they relate to Manufacturing Finance.
- Change Management: Learn processes, both current and future state, by engaging with stakeholders. Lead change management efforts by empowering associates, providing guidance, support, and training to employees transitioning to the new system and processes. Help address concerns, manage resistance, and ensure a smooth adoption of new technologies. Participate and support site readiness activities with the plants, DC’s and other stakeholders
- Issue Resolution: Act as a troubleshooter for any technical or operational issues related to the system. Work closely with IT support to identify and implement solutions, minimizing disruptions to day-to-day operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for enhancing processes and tools. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and insights, and propose improvements that drive efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation
- Data Management: Collaborate with data teams to establish data governance standards and implement data quality checks.
- Documentation: Help maintain thorough documentation of digital processes, workflows, and tool configurations. Create user guides, reference materials, and FAQs to facilitate smooth user experiences.

Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge
Qualifications
- Positive and productive attitude, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- BS degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting, finance, or IT/business
- Experience using SAP ECC or S4Hana to perform day-to-day general accounting, cost accounting, reporting and finance duties
- Experience in Manufacturing and Operations Finance/accounting with standard costing in SAP preferred
- Experience with S4Hana implementations is a plus
- CPA certification or equivalent is a plus but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to drive decision making with diverse audiences and foster a collaborative environment.
