In the role of Corporate Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial part in our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. Your focus will be on driving financial growth through forecasting, long-term planning, reporting, and strategic analysis, while providing valuable insights to our Finance department and Senior Leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the weekly forecasting process by analyzing major P&L components (sales, gross margin, inventory, etc.) and collaborating with business partners for accurate adjustments.
  • Contributing to the budgeting and long-term planning processes, including setting financial targets, communicating with key stakeholders, and summarizing major variances.
  • Preparing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, analyzing business performance, and contributing to strategic discussions at senior management and Board meetings.
  • Leading monthly evaluations of store contributions to offer insights into performance metrics and profitability drivers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical field is preferred, with a proven record of academic excellence.
  • At least 3 years of post-college experience, ideally in finance within a retail environment or a financial analysis team.
  • Strong analytical and data synthesis skills, with attention to detail and error-checking capability.
  • Advanced technical skills, including proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and familiarity with financial systems such as PowerBI, MicroStrategy, Hyperion, and Peoplesoft.
  • Proactive and resourceful, capable of navigating ambiguity and embracing challenges in dynamic environments.
  • Demonstrated integrity and trustworthiness with sensitive information.

Physical Requirements

Physical requirements include the capability to work in an office setting and engage with computer systems, including sitting, standing, walking, hearing, and communicating in meetings. The role demands regular attendance and punctuality, with vision requirements for clear visual engagement in both printed and electronic formats. This position requires a combination of in-office and remote work to facilitate effective team interaction, collaboration, and ongoing support.
