Tri-City Group is seeking a passionate, experienced Corporate Recruiter to support strategic growth by partnering with hiring managers and company leadership to identify hiring needs and attract top talent. This position works closely with hiring managers and company leadership to identify hiring needs, define requirement criteria, post jobs, manage applicants, interview, and facilitate next steps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective sourcing and recruitment strategies
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to offer acceptance
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline through various sourcing channels
  • Screen and interview candidates, assess their suitability, and make recommendations to hiring managers
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to understand their talent needs and help support and coordinate next steps
  • Stay up to date on recruitment trends and best practices; recommend improvements to the recruiting process
  • Provide an outstanding candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies
  • Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and communicate status updates to hiring managers and Human Resources Recruitment strategy meetings
  • Maintain accurate documentation and consistency throughout the entire recruitment process, collect feedback, and update recruiting activities and status
  • Use data to monitor recruiting performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements

Work Schedule & Location

This is a full-time position, standard hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours outside of normal business hours may be required during peak periods. This role is primarily remote and based in a home office; required technology and tools will be provided. Occasional travel to our office in Davenport, IA, monthly in‑person team meeting in the Des Moines office, recruiting and interviewing within the Des Moines Metro/surrounding areas as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate recruitment or talent acquisition
  • Experience recruiting for construction and/or skilled trades (preferred)
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions/projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive, Teams)

  • Proactive, takes initiative, and applies sound judgment in a fast‑paced environment

Compensation

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
