Key Responsibilities
- Deliver financial analytical support that drives strategic outcomes for assigned projects, implementing financial procedures across contract types.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure project budgets accurately reflect risks and improvement opportunities per owner contracts.
- Communicate potential project risks to senior leadership and assist in decision-making.
- Oversee billing processes and accounts receivables, proactively addressing issues as they arise.
- Establish and maintain financial internal controls to safeguard project funds.
- Guide project and shared services teams to enhance accounting support during project setup.
- Monitor project cash positions, assess financial risks, and collaborate on strategies to optimize profitability.
- Ensure accurate financial documentation, prepare analyses, and produce required cost reports.
- Analyze project forecasts for accuracy and compliance with contracts.
- Support project closeout processes and assist in audits as necessary.
- Engage in meetings related to operations and finance, providing insights and recommendations.
- Mentor junior accounting staff to foster their development in cost processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, tailoring messages to various audiences.
- Ability to identify financial risks and enforce compliance with practices.
- Analytical skills to assess financial data and recognize trends.
- Proficient in cash flow management to enhance profitability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative in taking corrective action.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

- Proficient in financial systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced MS Excel.
- Travel may be required.
Physical Demands
