Cost Accountant (Manufacturing | Automotive)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with product costing, cost analysis, and variance reporting
• Support the full finance function, including month-end processes
• Prepare and maintain costing models and standard costs
• Monitor and report on manufacturing costs and efficiencies
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to improve margins
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Work closely with operations to understand production and cost drivers

Minimum Requirements

• BCom or BTech degree in Finance / Accounting
• 2+ years’ experience in a costing or finance role (manufacturing exposure advantageous)
• Good understanding of the full finance function
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Excel (intermediate to advanced preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and within a team
