Cost and Financial Analyst

Mayvin is seeking an experienced Cost and Financial Analyst to support a complex Army radar program office effort at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This role provides critical cost, budgeting, and financial management expertise across the full lifecycle of the Army’s ground-based radar systems, including the AN/TPQ 50, AN/TPQ 53, and their associated Foreign Military Sales variants.

This position is contingent upon award.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must have an active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and present comprehensive Program Office Estimates (POEs/LCCEs) across all acquisition lifecycle phases in accordance with DoD and Army cost estimating policies and directives
• Build cost models and independent cost estimates using ACEIT to support acquisition decisions, contract actions, and program planning
• Conduct cost risk analyses, cost reduction assessments, and affordability evaluations to ensure alignment with the Acquisition Program Baseline (APB)
• Perform earned value management (EVM) assessments to monitor contractor performance and identify potential cost or schedule variances
• Support PPBE processes, including preparation of budget exhibits, justification materials, and program funding documentation
• Provide analytical support to program leadership through continuous cost tracking, requirements analysis, and financial reporting to ensure informed decision making

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Research or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, or science (Can substitute an additional 4 years of related experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of cost analyst experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ACEIT/EVM experience; RS3/APG familiarity
