The opportunity:
We are seeking a Creative & Social Strategy Senior Manager to lead the creative vision and strategic direction of our Creative & Social practice. This is a senior leadership position responsible for shaping content ecosystems across a portfolio of clients and elevating the quality, consistency, and performance of all social output.
In this role, you will define and drive the creative direction from concept to execution, ensuring all content is platform-native, insight-driven, and aligned with client objectives. You will oversee content development, lead production, and act as a key strategic partner in client relationships.
You will be supported by two Social Media Coordinators who manage day-to-day execution, community management, and editorial planning, allowing you to focus on high-level creative leadership, strategic thinking, and innovation.
Your Scope of Work
- Lead the development of social media and content strategies aligned with client business objectives
- Translate insights, trends, and performance data into clear creative direction and campaign concepts
- Own the creative direction across a multi-client portfolio, ensuring strong brand storytelling and platform relevance
- Develop content pillars, campaign ideas, and platform-specific approaches tailored to each client
- Direct content production, including shoot planning, creator briefing, and collaboration with designers, videographers, and influencers
- Oversee content calendars and execution, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with strategy
- Lead performance tracking and translate results into actionable optimizations and improvements
- Present strategies, creative concepts, and performance insights confidently to clients, acting as a senior advisor
- Identify opportunities for innovation, new platforms, and expansion of social mandates
- Mentor and guide Social Media Coordinators while maintaining oversight across all active client work
Your Profile:
- 5–8 years of experience in social media, content strategy, or creative direction — agency experience strongly preferred
- A strong, distinctive aesthetic eye and proven ability to art-direct photo and video content
- Deep fluency in UGC and AGC content — you know the difference between editorial and native, and can direct both
- Experience managing multiple brand mandates simultaneously, with a different creative voice for each
- Comfortable owning client relationships and presenting creative work to senior stakeholders
- Confident with production: shoot coordination, photographer briefing, timeline management, and hard cost awareness
- Data-informed — you use performance insights to evolve creative, not just report numbers
- Deep platform expertise across TikTok, Meta (Instagram & Facebook), Pinterest, and YouTube — you know each platform’s nuances, formats, and what makes content perform natively
- Experience or comfort working collaboratively with paid media partners to align organic content with paid amplification strategies
- Bilingual (French/English) is a strong asset in our Montréal market
