Credit and Collections Analyst

FlexStaff is seeking a Credit and Collections Analyst for our client. This is a temporary position that runs through September 30, 2026.

• Pay Rate: $28/hr
• Location: Melville, NY.
• Hybrid Schedule 3 days in the office

Responsibilities

• Approves or disapproves the extension of credit within pre-established guidelines for all customers in the designated geographic region.
• Analyzes and reports on write-off activity.
• Collects past due payments and ensures fair, courteous and prompt handling of collection matters in order to provide for the turnover of accounts receivable.
• Confers with the credit, sales and other managers concerning the status of customer accounts and actions to be initiated on delinquent accounts.
• Monitors and communicates credit concerns to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience.
• Previous experience collecting in a wholesale environment is strongly preferred.
