Credit Data Analyst

About

Our client is looking for an experienced Credit Data Analyst who:

• has strong data analytics capabilities,
• pays attention to detail,
• delivers work of a high quality,
• can process, manipulate, and transform large volumes of data (1 million+),
• performs extensive analysis on data and produces summary results in a visual format to ultimately tell a story using data.

The successful individual needs to be a team player who works alongside others to identify and contribute to initiatives leading to company success.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Measure and manage the performance across multiple credit products.
• Evaluate and improve business decisions, substantiated by data-driven analyses.
• Create credit strategies.
• Run and improve forecasting simulations.
• Report back to management around the credit risk status of the business.

Computer Literacy

• Advanced Excel (essential)
• Excel VBA (preferential) / Python (preferential) / R (preferential)

Travel

International travel may be required from time to time.

Desired Experience & Qualification

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Mathematical/statistical background e.g. B.Sc. Mathematics / Statistics / Actuarial Science / Engineering degree.
• 5+ years in data analysis/modelling (not only using Excel, but other tools including SQL/SAS).
• Ability to work with millions of rows.
